Social Issues Posters
Spring 2023
This project was part of a Social Issues class where, as a group, we selected twelve global topics to focus on throughout the year. After researching and exploring each issue in depth over the semester, I created a poster for each of the twelve topics as my final project.
My goal was to design posters that communicated the essence of each issue through powerful imagery, keeping text minimal so the visuals could speak for themselves. I used bright, playful colors to draw viewers in and make each design approachable, while still conveying serious subject matter.
Each poster was designed to stand alone as a bold statement piece. Still, when displayed side by side, they form a cohesive mural, highlighting how these global issues are deeply interconnected.
This work was selected for the 40th Annual Exhibition ‘Young Contemporaries,’ a juried art show.
